LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE
The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or destruction of goods occurring during transportation handled by third-party carriers, including but not limited to road transport within Nigeria.
THIRD-PARTY TRANSPORT DISCLAIMER
Where the Company arranges transportation through third-party logistics providers, such services are performed as an agent on behalf of the Client.
The Company shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, delay, or incident (including fire, accident, or theft) occurring during such third-party transportation.
FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for loss or damage caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
•Fire outbreaks
•Road accidents
•Civil unrest
•Natural disasters
•War
DECLARATION OF VALUE (VERY IMPORTANT)
The Client must declare the accurate value of goods at the time of shipment.
The Company reserves the right to reject any claim where the declared value differs from actual verified value.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In all circumstances, the Company’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service rendered and shall not extend to the full value of the goods.
INSURANCE CLAUSE
Insurance coverage is optional and must be expressly requested by the Client.
Where the Client declines insurance, the Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage to goods.
RISK TRANSFER CLAUSE
Risk in the goods transfers to the Client once the goods are handed over to a third-party carrier or leave the Company’s direct control.
